Visiting Bjerkvik

To me, the origin of my musical ancestry is Bjerkvik, just like it is the origin of half of my family, so last weekend, I took two of my friends with me there to work on our music, chill out and play some Nintendo 64. The house we were staying at is actually owned by my grandparents, who are now at the elders home, so it was a nice chance to meet up on them as well. The interior of the house is like a snapshot from the 50s, with almost every piece of furniture having stayed intact since before I was born. It has two living rooms, two kitchens, 4 dorm rooms and a whole myriad of hidden chambers for which to store stuff, as well as having a basement filled to the brim with stuff that was never thrown away. In other words, the perfect location for a music video that I've been considering making. For all I know, I'll be filming more than one music video over there.
It was a nice weekend, of course. We got to work on some lyrics, do some jamming. We didn't make a whole lot of progress on our songs, but then again, we were only there for the weekend, and mostly to have a good time. When it comes to my own project, I am coming close to finish my work on my first EP. Just a little more time, and it should be ready for release.

  1. Nice picture, a house filled with people and laughter when I grew up. And music, clarinet and piano. Now its only memories..
